Lemon Sorbet

Lemon Sorbet

  • Prep Time: 5 minutes
  • Total Time: 1 hour
  • Yield: 1 quart


  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon grated lemon zest


  • Combine all of the ingredients and whisk well. Pour the mixture into the bowl of an ice cream maker and freeze according to the manufacturers' instructions.


  • The sorbet can be stored in the freezer in a resealable container for up to 3 months.
