Sugared Popcorn

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoons water
  • 6 cups popped butter-flavored popcorn


  • In a large, heavy pot over medium heat, combine the sugar, butter, and water. Stirring constantly, cook until thick like syrup, about 5 minutes. Remove from the heat, add the popcorn, and stir to coat evenly. Turn onto a sheet of parchment or waxed paper to cool. Serve in a basket or paper cones.
