Creole Tomato Salsa

Creole Tomato Salsa

Use only fresh, ripe Creole tomatoes for this salsa and you'll never buy jarred again!

  • Prep Time: 20 minutes
  • Total Time: 20 minutes plus time to chill
  • Yield: About 5 cups

Ingredients

  • 4 cups chopped vine-ripened tomatoes
  • 1 cup small-diced red onions
  • 1 large fresh jalapeño, seeded and cut into small dice
  • 1/2 cup loosely packed chopped fresh cilantro leaves
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley leaves
  • 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 6 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • Tortilla Chips

Directions

  • Combine all of the ingredients except the chips in a large bowl and mix well. Cover and chill for at least 2 hours before serving with the chips.
