Mojo Paste

  • Yield: 1 1/3 cups


  • 2 jalapeÒos, stemmed, seeded, and coarsely chopped (about 1/2 cup)
  • 1/2 cup coarsely chopped onions
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 tablespoons canned chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt


  • Put all the ingredients in a food processor and pulse several times to make a smooth paste.
