Roasted Shallot Sauce

  • Yield: About 1 1/4 cups



  • Combine the shallots, garlic, salt, pepper, and port in a small nonreactive saucepan over high heat. Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Stir in the stock and cook over high heat for 10 minutes. Reduce the heat to medium and cook for 20 to 25 minutes.
