Roasted Garlic

  • Yield: 1 head roast garlic; save extra for another use.


  • 1 head garlic, cloves separated
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper


  • Place garlic in center of aluminum foil sheet, drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with 2 teaspoons salt and 5 turns of pepper. Fold edges of foil together to form a bag. Roast in 400 degree oven until garlic is tender, about 40 minutes. Allow garlic to cool; slip off skins.
