1950s Mai Tai


  • 1 oz dark rum
  • 1 oz golden rum
  • 1 oz light rum
  • 1/2 oz fresh squeezed lime juice
  • 1/2 oz orange curacao
  • 1/4 oz simple syrup
  • 1/4 oz orgeat syrup
  • 2 cups crushed or cubed ice
  • Garnish with pineapple and maraschino cherry (and orchid if desired)


  • Shake all ingredients, except garnish, in a shaker until well chilled. Pour into a tiki glass, garnish with pineapple and a cherry and serve.
