Green Beans With Almonds

  • Yield: 6 servings


  • 1 pound green beans, trimmed and washed
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds


  • Steam the green beans in a vegetable steamer until crisp-tender. Set aside until right before serving. When ready to serve, melt the butter in a skillet; toss the green beans in the butter until warm, and top with sliced almonds.
