Creamy Sauce


  • 1/2 cup butter, at room temperature
  • 2 cups confectioners' sugar
  • 1/3 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla
  • 3/4 teaspoon almond extract


  • Beat butter in a mixing bowl until fluffy. Add the sugar and continue mixing until very creamy. Add the cream, and cook in double boiler until smooth and hot. Add the vanilla and almond extracts.
  • Or, cook in a microwave for about 2 minutes (stirring after a minute) and add the vanilla and almond extracts. Serve warm.
