Grilled Garlic Bread


  • 2 teaspoons unsalted butter per slice
  • One-fourth teaspoon chopped garlic per slice
  • 2 slices French bread per person


  • Melt the butter in a skillet and add the garlic. Add the French bread slices and coat one side only. (This can be done in advance.) Right before serving, put the bread on the grill and grill until well toasted.
