Peanut Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons molasses
- 2 tablespoons chopped shallots
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
- 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
Directions
- In a small saucepan combine molasses, shallots, soy sauce, sugar, lemon juice, red pepper flakes, garlic and 1 cup of water. Bring to a boil and simmer for 2 minutes. Add peanut butter, stirring until smooth. Pour into a pretty bowl for serving.
