Sweetened Whipped Cream

  • Yield: 8 servings


  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons sugar


  • Combine the cream, vanilla and sugar in a medium-size mixing bowl and, using an electric mixer, whip until soft peaks form.
  • In a mixing bowl combine all ingredients and stir gently but thoroughly to combine. Let stand 15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until sugar dissolves and flavors have mingled. Refrigerate until ready to serve. May be made up to 1 hour in advance.
