Muse's Green Mary Juice
Ingredients
- 1 pound spinach leaves
- 4 English cucumbers, roughly chopped
- 4 green tomatoes, roughly chopped
- 3 poblano peppers, stem and seeds removed, roughly chopped
- 2 jalapenos, stem and seeds removed, roughly chopped
- 5 cloves garlic
- 1/2 bunch cilantro, with the stems
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon citric acid
- 2 ounces Worcestershire
- 4 ounces lime juice
- 12 ounces water
Directions
In the bowl of a blender puree the ingredients in batches until very smooth. Strain the juice through a fine mesh sieve two times. (If you prefer the mixture to be pulpy, you may only strain it once.) Discard the solids or use for another purpose such as gazpacho or in soups. Serve immediately. The juice will last for 2 days in the refrigerator.
