Basic Whipped Cream

  • Yield: About 3 cups


  • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract


  • Place all ingredients in the bowl of a standing electric mixer with a whisk attachment and beat on medium-high until soft peaks form, 2 to 3 minutes. Serve with your favorite dessert.
