  • One-half cup sugar
  • One-fourth cup ground cinnamon
  • 1 (10-count) refrigerator biscuits
  • 2 cups vegetable oil


  • Combine the sugar and cinnamon in a bowl and stir to blend. Set aside. Using a rolling pin, roll out each biscuits very thin. Use cookie cutters to cut out shapes in the dough. Heat the vegetable oil in a large, heavy skillet to about 350 degrees. Add the churros, in batches, to the oil and fry until lightly brown. Drain on paper towels. While still warm, roll the churros in the cinnamon/sugar mixture.
