Baked Pumpkin


  • 1 small Pumpkin
  • One-fourth cup fresh apple cider
  • One-fourth cup maple syrup or honey
  • One-fourth cup melted butter


  • Scrub a small pie pumpkin and place in the oven, whole, at 350 degrees for one and one-half hours. Remove from the oven, cut off the very top, and scoop out the seeds. Add the apple cider, syrup or honey and the butter. Stir to mix. Bake for another 25 minutes. Cut into slices and serve.
