- 2 eggs
- One-third cup milk
- One-eighth teaspoon salt
- 4 slices bread, each about 1 inch thick
- Maple syrup
- Beat the eggs with the milk and salt in a shallow bowl. Trim the crusts from the bread (optional). Cut the bread in half. Dip the bread in the egg mixture for a few seconds and turn over. Place the bread in a heated nonstick skillet. Brown for about 2 minutes on each side. Serve with maple syrup and sprinkle with cinnamon.
