Flambeaux Punch
It’s Carnival time once again in New Orleans and Meril is serving up great food and drinks to go! We’re just two blocks off the parade route, so drop in and check out Miki’s Flambeaux Punch and grab a snack from the food-to-go menu.
Ingredients
- 2 cups dark rum
- 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 2/3 cups ginger syrup
- 2/3 cups passion fruit puree
- 1/3 cup banana liqeur
- 3 teaspoons Angostora bitter
- orange twists, for garnish
Directions
Fill a large pitcher with ice then add the rum, lemon juice, ginger syrup, passion fruit puree, banana liqeur and bitters and stir vigorously until well-chilled. Strain the mixture into ice-filled Collins glasses and garnish each glass with an orange twist.
