Air Fryer Mussels with a Saffron Cream Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon minced shallot
- 1/4 cup dry white wine
- 3 tablespoons heavy cream
- 4 threads saffron
- 1 pouond fresh mussels
Directions
Place the butter, garlic and shallots in the barrel pan of Emeril's Air Fryer and set the temperature to 370º F for 2 minutesand cook until the butter is melted and the garlic is fragrant. Add the white wine, cream and saffron and cook for 3 minutes longer or until the liquid is hot. Add the mussels, set the temperature to 370ºF for 6 minutes and cook until the mussels have opened.
Transfer the mussels to a large shallow bowl with the sauce and serve with warm, crusty bread.
