Honey Butter Braised Turnips
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds turnips, peeled and cut into wedges
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons chicken stock
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions
Place all ingredients in a medium-sized saucepan over medium heat and bring to a simmer. Cook the turnips until they are tender and the sauce becomes a shiny glaze, about 15 minutes.
