Ginger Syrup
Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 cups water
- One-half cup peeled and thinly sliced fresh ginger root
Directions
- Combine the ingredients in a saucepan, cover, and bring to a boil. Boil for 5 minutes, then turn off the heat and let the mixture cool. Strain and store in a sterilized bottle.
