Spice Liqueur
Ingredients
- 6 cardamom pods (white)
- 3 teaspoons anise seeds
- Two and one-fourth teaspoons Angelica root, chopped
- 1 cinnamon stick, about two inches long
- 1 clove
- One-fourth teaspoons mace
- 1 quart vodka
- 1 cup sugar syrup (1 c. sugar boiled with 1/2 cup water - discard extra)
Directions
- Remove the seeds from the cardamom pods, add the anise seed and grind together. Add this and the rest of the spices to the vodka and age 1 week, filter add the syrup and bottle.
