Perfect Rice
Ingredients
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup long-grain rice
- One-half teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon butter
Directions
- Put 2 cups of water in a medium-size saucepan. Add the rice, salt, and butter. Bring to a boil, cover, and then reduce the heat to medium-low. Cook until the water is absorbed, about 15 minutes. Remove from the heat. Presto---perfect rice.
