- 1 large head of romaine lettuce that has been prepared in advance to chill
- 1 avocado
- 2 medium tomatoes
- 1 cup sunflower seeds
- 3/4 cup seasoned rice wine vinegar
- The secret to crisp, cool lettuce is to wash and cut it up, put it in a lettuce spinner and spin dry, and then put the lettuce in a plastic storage bag in the vegetable crisper to chill. (By doing this procedure, you have perfect, crisp, dry lettuce that is ready to be tossed.)
- Put the lettuce in a large bowl. Dice avocado and tomatoes and toss into lettuce along with sunflower seeds and seasoned rice wine vinegar.
