Beaujolais Nouveau

Post Author: Lorin Gaudin

It’s baaack - the 2004 release of Beaujolais Nouveau is in and available for purchase.

For the unfamiliar, this wine is young, light and fruity, but not too sweet. There are many purveyors, but Georges DeBoeuf seems to lead the pack again this year as a favorite. Bottles are around $10 and a perfect match for Thanksgiving meals. One caveat: Beaujolais Nouveau is really only special for about 6 weeks. If you see it on the shelves after that, grab a bottle or two and turn it into sangria!
